Dune was one of the biggest films of 2021 and with a second instalment due to hit cinemas in a matter of weeks, it's no surprise fans are keen to watch the sci-fi adventure movie.
Dune saw Arrival director Denis Villeneuve adapt the seminal novel of the same name by Frank Herbert and told the story of Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) as he journeys with his aristocratic family to the planet Arrakis to complete duties for the Galactic Empire.
The planet Arrakis is rich in the fuel known as melange (or spice), which is much fought over and valued in the galaxy.
However, the Atreides family face a trap laid for them there by their rivals, the Harkonnens.
Facing grave danger, Paul and his mother Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) find themselves in the desert and face to face with the planet’s mysterious native population, the Fremen.
The second film picks up with Paul and his mother now living among the Fremen, but do you fancy returning to Arrakis for a refresher?

Dune release date for DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD
Dune was released on DVD, Blu-ray and on 4K Ultra HD disc in the UK on the 31st January 2022. The movie is available to order on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD disc on various websites.

Dune is currently available to stream on Netflix in the UK for free.
It is also available to rent in the UK on digital platforms including Amazon and Apple TV+ for £3.49.
Who stars in Dune?
Timothee Chalamet stars as the young hero Paul Atreides who experiences prophetic visions of a great destiny.
Rebecca Ferguson portrays Lady Jessica, Paul's mother, a member of the sisterhood known as the Bene Gesserit, and the concubine to Paul's father, Duke Leto Atreides, played by Oscar Isaac.
Josh Brolin portrays the Atreides' weapons master, Gurney Halleck, while Jason Momoa stars as their master swordsman Duncan Idaho.
Meanwhile, Stellan Skarsgard portrays the villainous Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, with Dave Bautista portraying his brutish nephew Count Glossu Rabban.
Elsewhere, Stephen McKingley Henderson portrays the Atreides' Mentat servant, Thufir Hawat, and David Dastmalchian plays Hawat's counterpart for House Harkonnen, Piter De Vries.
Sharon Duncan-Brewster takes on the role of the imperial planetologist Dr Liet-Kynes, while Charlotte Rampling portrays the Emperor's truthsayer and Bene Gesserit priestess Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam.
Finally, Javier Bardem portrays a leader of a Fremen tribute named Stilgar, while Zendaya takes on the pivotal role of the young Fremen woman named Chani - the woman in Paul's dreams who will prove pivotal to his future.
Dune: Part Two will be released on Friday 1st March 2024.
